Default Vanilla Beans in Imperial Stout

I am brewing a Vanilla Bourbon IS.

This is a 5 gallon batch.

How much vanilla bean should I put into the secondary?

Thanks

In my experience, 1 will give you a subtle aftertaste, two will be more noticeable. It really depends upon the recipe and your preferences. I always soak the beans in either vodka or bourbon/scotch to kill any nasties that may be hitching a ride before tossing it all in though, FYI.
