Default Thinking About a Wit

I am thinking about brewing the below Wit this weekend. The recipe is one that I think came with BeerSmith.

Was wondering if any had any suggestions for additions or other advice for this brew.

Recipe: Wit
Style: Witbier
TYPE: All Grain

Recipe Specifications
Batch Size: 5.20 gal
Boil Size: 5.20 gal
Estimated OG: 1.047 SG
Estimated Color: 4.0 SRM
Estimated IBU: 16.7 IBU
Boil Time: 60 Minutes


4.50 lb Pale Malt (2 Row) Bel (3.2 SRM)
4.50 lb Wheat, Flaked (1.6 SRM)


1.00 oz Goldings, East Kent [5.00 %] (60 min) 16.7 IBU


0.75 oz Coriander Seed (Boil 5.0 min)
0.75 oz Orange Peel, Bitter (Boil 5.0 min)


1 Pkgs (Starter from Belgian Wit Ale (White Labs #WLP400)

I'd probably use different hops. Some kind of noble hop would be a little more to style (hallertauer is a good choice). Though, really, since you're just using the hops for bittering and not flavor or aroma it won't make that much of a difference.

A particular love for ancient, obsolete, or lesser-known style from both the US and abroad.
