Default Sugar water and yeast?
Has anyone just done this as an experiment? Just sugar water and yeast, then fermented like any other beer or cider? I am wondering what it would taste like.

would it just taste like alcohol? My thought was if it were pretty plain could you then add some type of flavoring extract and carbonate it and almost have a "soda" with alcohol.
