I'm doing a pumpkin ale this weekend and I need a subsitute for Biscuit Malt since my LHBS doesn't carry that. I got the recipe from this thread

according to my LHBS guys, its the same thing as biscuit, except one comes from belgium and the other comes from the USA.

I just did exactly that, on both. I needed a half pound of biscuit but the LHBS was all out. I substituted 0.25 lb of both Special Roast and Victory. The results taste good so far.

I switched from biscuit to Special Roast after my LBHS stopped carrying the biscuit with no detectable differences in flavor.
