Looking to make a nice strawberry ale since warmer weather is getting near. Anyone have a successful recipe to share?
Look up the succulent strawberry blond. I've brewed it twice now in the last month. Very good.
I brewed up the Strawberry Alarm Clock, turned out great. Had a great taste, tasted like a light ale with a nose of strawberries. With the weather starting to warm up, I'll def be brewing this soon here's link http://www.homebrewtalk.com/f75/strawberry-alarm-clock-v3-0-strawberry-blonde-132129/
+1 on the Succulent Strawberry Blonde. Very nice beer, big hit with everyone who tried it from, the BMC crowd to the craft brew fanatics.
Made "The Succulent" with 4 lbs fresh, macerated strawberries in secondary, added 1.5 lbs honey. Turned out great.
If earthy strawberry taste is what you like, go for it.
Thanks for the suggestions all, wound up going with the succulent and it was a big hit!
