Am trying to brew a scaled down stout recipe and getting bizarre results on BeerSmith2, so was wondering if the recipe below looked whacky to more seasoned brewers on here.
3.43 gallon (13 litre) all grain and leaf recipe:
7lbs 11.5 Oz of Belgian pale ale malt
12.8 Oz of Chocolate malt
7 Oz of biscuit malt
BeerSmith is giving me an estimated ABV of 1.4% and an estimated OG of 1.014 - but this does not seem to me to add up. I was expecting an OG of around 1.064 based on the recipe I am trying to scale.
Any advice welcome!
