Squirrel House American Amber

I've been pulling the handle on this one for a little while now. It is absolutely fantastic and super simple to make.

It's plenty malty with a pleasant caramel sweetness, a bit of roastiness, a slight hint of chocolate, and a nice nutty flavor. Hops are a bit peppery with citrus on the finish. Very nice if I do say so.....

I'm really diggin' Pale Chocolate Malt. It really adds a lot without being overpowering in moderation.

I think this grain bill would work great with English hops, too. I think I'll go that route next time.
