I'm afraid the the mix would just be to chaotic, along the lines of hey, this is great, so adding more would be even better, which sometimes ends disastrously. I would love to here from someone who has actually paired it with the one of the other C hops or Amarillo.

It seems to me, that it is better to pair it with the woodsy/earthy hops (which I do) sort of like in a lemon iced tea.

My other feeling is that the lemony flavors are not paired well with crystal/caramel malts. They strike me as going better with biscuity/bready flavors. Again I have not tried Sorachi Ace in a beer with a bunch of crystal malts. Again, I'd love to hear a report from someone who did. I've got too many other experiments I want to try
I used with Cascade, didn't think it clashed at all.

Drop down is not working??? http://www.homebrewtalk.com/f62/tasm...le-ale-127870/

Looks good!!! Does the grain bill really get 1.070 w/ 12lbs???? You get good efficiency????

I seems a bit light from my memory. 10.5# gets me 1.047 with 75%eff.

I just reset it for 73% eff that I know I can hit and it is a OG of 1.065 probably closer to what I will really get

I'm in Cedar Rapids (Mon-Thurs) & Des Moines. Where is Keokuk? OK - way, way SE IA.

I'm open to swap but it looks like a cruise for either one of us. Are you ever in DM or CR?

We could do the mail thing too. My selection is limited now that I am moving. I'd trade a Bomber of French Saison and/or a bottle of Cuvee Cider.

OK - I have a about 3/4 case of bombers. They are from Aug-Sept 2008. 8.5% ABV and dry. I will save you one of these and a cider if you like cider. I forgot I also have a home brew club BW.
