Sam Adams Fat Jack Double Pumpkin?
 
Best pumpkin beer I have tasted. Anybody have a clone recipe? I know Sam Adams lists the ingredients on their website, but I am still pretty new at brewing and need help figuring out a recipe.

Does anybody who has tasted this beer have any ideas? Here is what the Sam Adams website says for the profile.

Flavor: Rich & smooth with a roasty maltiness and hints of molasses & caramel. Full and sweet from teh pumpkin and warming spices that are complemented by earthy UK hops.
Color: Rich copper, 25 SRM
Original Gravity: 20.7 Plato
Alcohol by Vol/Wt: 8.5%ABV – 6.6%ABW
Calories/12 oz.: 288
IBUs: 25
Malt Varieties: Samuel Adams two-row pale malt blend, rye, Special B, and smoked malt
Hop Varieties: East Kent Goldings and Fuggles
Special Ingredients: Real pumpkin, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and allspice

I know this is a necropost but I just tried a bottle.... How about this:

13# 2 Row Malt
4.66# Pumpkin
1.5# Special B
1.5# 60L
0.5# Smoked Malt
1oz Fuggles @ 60 min
1oz EKG @ 60 min
2tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice @ 0 min
Wyeast 1968 ESB

BeerSmith gives me 1.088 OG, 1.022 FG (right about what I measured Fat Jack at), 24.8 IBU, 26.8 SRM.

The commercial Fat Jack tasted very similar to a Fullers ESB if I took away the pumpkin flavors so I think ESB yeast and optic malt would be ideal for this recipe. Also the beer was very thick for my taste. Almost like a Barleywine or a Scotch Ale.

How about some flaked barley and/or Munich to help with the mouthfeel?
