I used 2 ounces American Saaz and 2 ounces Czech Saaz in a pilsner this morning.

I think my next beer is going to be all saaz or maybe magnum and saaz. (faststage dropped of 12 oz of fresh magnum hops off his rather large home grown supply).

Saaz definitely are pretty spicy, but they do have a bit of a bite, compared to Hallertauer. Just about everything does. I still love them, though. Try FWH with Saaz, and you just might like the effect.

I also love Sterling.

I need to get some lagers going.
