Hey, Reading through the Hopsecutioner thread just now made me remember the Rye Squared I had from Terrapin a few years back. From their website it looks like this was a one off beer that they don't brew anymore.

The description states "Twice the Grain and Twice the Hops" of their regular Rye Pale Ale. I know there's a Can You Brew It recipe for that one.

So my question - Has anyone tried to brew the Rye Squared? Does Twice the Grain and Twice the Hops get you there? Or do I have to add this to the long list of things I've got to brew?

Wow, I didn't know they had retired this. I know several places that have this on the shelf so I guess I'm going to have to pick it all up.

I did a 2.75gal batch of EdWorts Haus Pale Ale with 5.5gal batch worth of ingredients and it turned out very, very well. There was very little sparge-just enough to add to the first runnings to get to my pre-boil volume. I will be doing this again.
