Default roasted barley - 300L vs. 500L

A recipe I want to brew calls for 3 oz of roasted barley (300L). I was going to use Brewmaster's Warehouse as my supply source, but I noticed that they only offer "Simpson's Roasted Barley" which is listed at 500L.

Can I just sub 2 oz of this to maintain approximately the same color? What about taste? Will there be a noticeable difference between 3oz of 300L and 2oz of 500L?

You'll be fine. It may be a bit darker, but it's such a minor difference, you probably won't notice.
