Default Recipes for Taurus, Aurora, Target

Hi all,
My Hops supplier was clearing out his 2012 stock to make way for the 2013 harvest so I got a great deal on ½ pound of each of 8 different varities.
The problem is that I only brew 5 gallons about once a month so I went a bit crazy when I saw the prices and bought way too much and also bought some not so popular types which were cheap because they don’t sell well. :O

Anyway for 5 of the varities (Northern Brewer, Nugget, Hersbrucker, Mittelfruh, Tettanger) there are more than enough recpies that I can use them in.

The other 3 I’m finding it difficult to find a use for them:
1) Target (anyone have experience with dry hopping?) or a good ESB, EIPA where it is used?
2) Hallertauer Taurus (a good sub for Magnum or do I need to be careful with it?)
3) Aurora (super styrian)

Anyone know any tried and tested all-grain recipes where I could use any of the 3 of these hops; my main aim would be to use a lot of these but I also have a ounce or more of the following hops which I can use with them:
Saaz, Mittelfrueher, Fuggels, Centennial, Mosaic, Strisselspalt, Summit, Falconer’s Flight, Magnum, Cascade, Styrian Goldings, East Kent Goldings and Willamette
I have about 25 pounds each of Pils and Pale Ale and about 15 different special malts and I have only used dry yeast until now.
Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

I bought a lb of Target, and used it for flavor once, and didn't much care for the result. It tasted like raw wood. I ended up using the other 13oz as bittering hops. I think in small amounts, it might be fine in ESBs, provided you used Kent Goldings in heavier doses. Probably better in something dark. I've never used the other two, although the Taurus sounds intriguing.

It doesn't have any recipes, just general impressions, but my favorite hop resource is http://www.bear-flavored.com/2011/12...de-to-hop.html

Thanks for the link - nice site.
I think I will just use the Target and Taurus for bittering but I'm going to do a SMaSH with the Aurora to get a feel for it.

Did you ever do a smash with the Styrian Aurora?

No I didn’t have a chance yet. I’m waiting to buy a second 7 gallon pot so that I can make a 10 gallon batch and split it in two 5 gallon batches. One hopped only with the Aurora and the other as an English IPA. It might take a while but I’ll come back here with a report
