mmmmmmmmmm arrrrgh droool. sounds great. only thing i see is chinook can be pretty fierce. Unless you're used to using chinook. It's one of my favorite bittering hops. It can be a bit much in the bittering and I've never used much in the aroma area. If it was me, I would switch the tetnang with the 5 min chinook addition and/or change the hop bill:

fwh: chinook 1 oz
90 min; chinook 1 oz
60 min chinook 1/2 oz
30 min 1/2 oz
5 min or 0 min tetnang

that's just me. I've not used tettnang as an aroma hop, either, but imagine it would be cool. Now that I've typed all this, I'd be interested to taste and see what others think about chinook as aroma/flavor hop???

granted, its wet tettnang and not the usual dry stuff us homebrewers get, but its used in Two Brother's Heavy Handed IPA and is delicious...

I have used Chinook as a flavoring hop, in a crazy APA recipe, when I first started brewing. I liked it.

That's Ed Wort's recipe, or very close. http://www.homebrewtalk.com/f69/bee-...rye-ipa-82451/

I just made it yesterday! It's going to be yummy.

Correct, I used EdWort's as a framework, had to scale back a little to accomidate my 5gal MLT. I am pretty sure I like Chinook (love SN Celebration Ale) and I loved Bear Republic Hop Rod Rye so I figured I'd give this one a shot!
