Default Prices of Malt in Germany

Pilsener Malz (Pilsner Malt): (from) ab 0,88 Euro/kg (about $1.00 for 2.2 lbs)

Münchner Malz (Munich malt), Wiener Malz (Vienna malt) und Weizenmalz (Wheat malt): ab 0,92 Euro/kg (a little higher)

und komplette Bierpaket mit geschrotetem Malz, Hopfen, Hefe und Anleitung für ca. 20 l Bier (Pils, Export, Weizen, Klosterbier...) für 9,85 Euro - (This is a COMPLETE KIT for about $12.50! I don't do kits, but what's our cheapest? $30 bucks?)

I've purchased mini-mash kits from austin for around $15. I haven't seen malts under $1.20/lb, unless you buy 50 lb. bags. Still, my latest AG was under $10. That's a SG of only 1.046 and pitching on the cake.

It was on a link on the German Home Brew forum I belong to:

http://www.hobbybrauer.de/index.php

The page is also translated into English if you are interested, but the translation really sucks.
