If you want a touch of honey, add honey malt.

Adding liquid honey will boost your abv, but leave little to no honey flavor.

I prefer my porters with a tad more body, so I would mash a bit higher.

Colo, do you think 8 oz of honey malt would do the trick? I'm not to sure, since I've never used that malt before. I don't want it to overpower the beer but I can se where this may be more effective than the liquid honey.

Thanks!
