Default Please critique recipe!

I'm shooting for a fairly "lite" amber/red that is a slightly hop forward easy drinker. What do you think?
Extract, 5.5 gal batch, 3 gal boil.

Steeping grains: 0.5 lb crystal 60, 0.5 lb honey malt.

3.3 lb, Breiss amber LME (base/crystal 60/Munich) - early addition
2lb gold DME - late addition
2.5lb brewers corn syrup - late addition

Hops: 60 min - 0.5 oz cluster, 20 min - 0.5 oz Cascade, 5 min - 0.5 oz Cascade.

Wyeast 2112 California.

Sounds pretty dang good to me! Chrystal 60L and Gambranus honey malt are both VERY good. Just used them myself in a cream ale.

The corn syrup will make it a fairly dry beer, with little to no aftertaste. It also will accentuate the hop additions.

Go for it!

BTW: I didn't do calculations on color, IBUs, ABV, OG etc. I'm assuming you've got those close to the range you're shooting for.

The " base" of this recipe just went into secondary & I'm excited. It used gold lme, 1 lb DME, and the corn syrup. Almost the same hop schedule - just a little lighter on the 5 min. And 0.75lb of the crystal. I'm thinking the extra lb of DME, richer amber lme, and honey malt addition should kick it up a bit.
