hi guys, i was just wanted to let you know that i have tried using bore water. the beer is still fermenting and seems to be going well.
the bore water is from stradbroke island and is really pure (great water)
the only thing that i am concerned about is that it has a ph of 4.6 and normal tap water is about 7 to 8.0. do you thing it will turn out ok, and if anyone knows what ph of water do the brewer's use??

i think ideal mash ph is 5.5-5.7 so you can get the proper enzyme activity you need.

i gust measured the sg. still going, and i had a taste. it seems to be really good. might use this water all the time from now on. thats if it turns out ok...
