Default Pellet vs whole hops

What do you think creates more mess in the boil: pellet or whole hops? I say pellet cause when I boil with pellet I am always scraping the green scum off the sides of the pot back into wort. What do you think?

i get that too. but the whole hops soak up more of the wort/beer.

I bag so there is no mess.

Just use a big bag and good boil and you'll still 100% utilization and no mess.
