A buddy wants me to brew a beer for him and he has asked for Paulaner Hefe-Weizen. I have no idea what this beer is like. But I'll make it for him. Heck to brew on someone elses $$$ I'm all for it.
Any one have a good recipe for this beer?
there's one in clone brews (or is it beer captured.) haven't tried it yet...
Send me an email and I'll get it to you mine the firstname.lastname@example.org
I've brewed a recipe from the hbd website that is very close, if not better, than the original. It calls for Bavarian Wheat yeast but I've used the Wyeast 3068 Weihenstephan Wheat yeast with good results too. Email me if you'd like the recipe.
There's a Paulaner knock-off recipe in this thread that I've tried and found to be quite good:http://www.homebrewtalk.com/showthread.php?t=12356&highlight=witches
