Default Paulaner Hefe-Weizen clone needed
A buddy wants me to brew a beer for him and he has asked for Paulaner Hefe-Weizen. I have no idea what this beer is like. But I'll make it for him. Heck to brew on someone elses $$$ I'm all for it.

Any one have a good recipe for this beer?

there's one in clone brews (or is it beer captured.) haven't tried it yet...

I've brewed a recipe from the hbd website that is very close, if not better, than the original. It calls for Bavarian Wheat yeast but I've used the Wyeast 3068 Weihenstephan Wheat yeast with good results too. Email me if you'd like the recipe.

Here is what I do for my take on it

5 lbs 2-row pale
5 lbs german wheat
10 oz munich

1 oz tettnanger or is it hallertau? 60 minutes

mash at 150 for 60 mins

boil

wyeast wesitfastiengasdn whatever yeast.

2 weeks primary
2 bottle
drink

It's not mine to share so homebrewer_99 would have to either post it or say that I can.

With yours what are the water amonts and temps of sparge?
