Default which pack do i use?

Just received my shipment today of all my ingredients for a AG Stout. For Yeast I order 2 dry packs of Nottingham. I always order a spare just in case. My question is the two packs both of the same Lot number have quite a different feel to them.
Pack1 feels very solid and evacuated of all gasses.
Pack 2 you can hear all the individual grains moving around and maybe has a little free room in it. Neither pack has any discernible holes.

Which pack would you suggest I pitch?

Default

Reconstitute it in water.

Pour both of the packs and see if you get any bubbling.

If you are worried - make two separate little containers. ..I use small Mason jars.

I add a tablespoon of sugar. The purists recommend Dry Malt Extract.

It gives the yeasties something to chew on while they are puffing back up.
