Ordering hops from Europe?

I was told hops should be kept in the freezer until used.
I saw good hop prices on eBay, with free int'l shipping.
So I fear the ~10 day shipping will hurt the hops...

Does this affect the hops ? or is this the common overkill bug that infects us brewers?

Freezing helps extend the life of hops, but hop warehouses are rarely even refrigerated.
