Can anybody recommend an online source for hop purchases? It seems like if I buy a lb. or two I can save some money. what do ya think?

Hops - available today from Puterbaugh Farms
and
Freshops- Home

I've used both, and they're both great.

Midwest has some good deals on some varieties, like Glacier, Willamette and Cascade.

just my two cents, but if ur gonna buy hops by the pound invest in a vacuum sealer, you could lose alot of flavor and aroma if you dont get the 02 away from the hops

You can get hops for WELL under $2 an ounce by the pound at hopsdirect. Get a vaccuum sealer and you will be swimming in high quality CHEAP hops for a while.

I don't know why but kennywoodbrew.com has cascades for $15 a pound. It is a great deal for anyone and a better deal if you live within driveing distance and cut the shipping.
