Default oats and stout

I have 8 lbs of am 2 row, 2 lbs of chocolate malt and 1 pound of light chocolate malt and I was planning on brewing a stout. I see many stouts recipes with with oats in them, can I assume that these oats can be purchased at my local grocery store, if so witch ones there are so many varieties.

The old fashioned oats (rolled oats, flaked oats, etc.) can be used directly in the mash.

Just stay away from any kind of instant oatmeal. They tend to be heavy on the salt.

And ideally around 10% - 15% of the total grain bill; I've used the flaked oats with good results at 15%.

I use quaker quick oats directly in the mash. Usually around 10%, and have made some dang good oatmeal stouts if I do say so myself.
