Extract version, I'm not into all grain yet.
Looking to make a strong version of an oatmeal stout, say I wanted 7/8 %abv, is this possible?
6 lbs dark malt extract
.????
8oz rolled oats
4oz chocolate malt
4 oz Roasted barley Specialty grain
1 oz fuggle hops
Question is, I would think i need to add more malt extract and also boost hops, what else could I do? Or should I do?.. When to add everything, etc?. I did a oatmeal stout kit and loved it, simply wondering how to make a stronger version and keep it similar in taste. Is this possible?
