I think your recipe is fine however, b/c it sounds like you know what you are going for taste wise but I think the alt yeast would give you a more "german" character.
Well, I was kinda of thinking a yeast thats clean, but lets the hops shine, which both of those do, and I have those two on hand, but I guess I dont know about German Ale yeast either. Ill have to look into it since Im def. not opposed to picking some more up.
