Default Next two recipes on the docket

Tomorrow I will be brewing a red ale for St. Patty's day, then probably on Friday I will brew a stout and pitch it on the cake. Any suggestions for these recipes?

Color Blind Green Beer (Red Ale)

5.75 lbs 6 row
2.5 lbs XL LME
2 lbs Munich
1.5 lbs Melanoidin
.75 lbs Crystal 20L
2 Potatoes (just over a pound) grated
? lbs Rice hulls (Im not sure how much to use here, Ive never had to use rice hulls before)

2/3 oz Northdown 60 min
1/3 oz Northdown 40 min
1/2 oz Fuggle 15 min
1/2 oz Fuggle 2 min

Stout

5 lbs Pale malt
4 lbs LME
2 lbs Flaked Barley
1.5 lbs Crystal 80L
.75 lbs Roasted Barley
.75 lbs Chocolate malt

1 oz Northdown 60 min
1 oz Northdown 45 min
.75 oz Northdown 30 min
.25 oz Northdown 10 min

Both batches will be fermented with WLP 004 Irish Ale yeast, which is currently in a starter.

Any feedback is muchly appreciated.

Just curious; What's the Melanoidin do? I've seen it but I've never used it. Also, I assume you're using rice hulls because of the taters? I've not yet used either of these, so I don't really know, but in my mind, I'm thinkin' a one# bag of RH oughta do it.

Ive never used melanoidin either. I thought I'd give it a try. Its supposed to be really malty.

The rice hulls are indead for the spuds.
