Newcastle is made from mixing two different beers but here is a decent clone recipe:
6lbs Muntons light DME
2oz Crystal 55L
2oz British Chocolate Malt
1oz British Black Malt
Steep the grains in 1.5 gallons of 150deg water for 20 minutes, sparge with 1/2gallon of 150deg water.
3/4 oz Northern Brewer 8%AA for 60min
1/2 oz EK Goldings 5.5%AA for 15min
OG = 1.054-1.057
IBU = 26.7
Target FG = 1.014
