Default Nelson Sauvignon hops

Has anybody used these either on their own or blended with others?

Great hops, somewhat unlike everything else, but not totally. Also, it's Nelson Sauvin, not Sauvignon. Try them.

Seems like every time I find a "great" new beer I like, I go to there website and of course...this hop shows up.

It's funny you say that. They gave the name sauvin as a tip of the cap to the almost fruity winey Sauvignon qualities the hops have.

Seriously though, they're terrible hops. Just send them to me and I'll dispose of them for you.

To get an idea of the flavor and aroma, try Widmar Imperial Nelson IPA. It uses only Nelson for flavor and aroma afaik. Really, really good beer. In fact I'm having one now.
