Default Need a new beer recipe

I've been brewing pale ales until I think I'm growing Cascade hops out of my ears! I want something easily quaffable like Yuengling lager. Not hoppy, good on a hot day, not strong alcohol wise. I can do lager fermentations no problem, and it needs to be an extract because it's too damn hot where I'm at to do all grain for now! Cheers

do a cream ale or a hefeweizen. they're perfect for hot temps, and not hoppy. 6 lbs wheat dme, 1 oz hersbrucker hops ( 60 minutes ), wlp300 yeast. a week fermenting, then carb it, and you're drinking a hefeweizen

Well, if you're a patient person, why not do a beer like Yuengling? Lagers take longer, but they are usually worth it. You could also do an oktoberfest, since I like those better than light lagers, that's what I'd suggest!

Something like:
5 lbs Extra Light Dry Extract (3.0 SRM) Dry Extract 71.43 %
1 lbs Munich Malt (9.0 SRM) Grain 14.29 %
8.0 oz Caramel/Crystal Malt - 80L (80.0 SRM) Grain 7.14 %
8.0 oz Caramunich Malt (56.0 SRM) Grain 7.14 %
1.00 oz Tettnang [5.00 %] (60 min) Hops 15.2 IBU
1.00 oz Hallertauer Hersbrucker [3.60 %] (30 min) Hops 9.6 IBU
1 Pkgs Octoberfest/Marzen Lager (White Labs #WLP820) Yeast-Lager

If you don't want to do a partial mash, you could sub Munich LME for the Munich malt.
