Default My New Heffe

Here is what I dreamed of last night... reduced the grain bill a bit since I am getting about 78% eff. and I wanted a little less alcohol content, hows it look?

German Wheat 5lbs
German Pils 3.5lbs

.5oz Hersbrucker @ 45 min
.25oz Hersbrucker @ 15 min


Rest 122 for 30 min
Rest 152 for 60 min
Mashout 165 for 15 min

Yeast WLP300

Stats

3 SRM
12 IBUs
4.4% ABV
OG 1.045
FG 1.012

Stick with a German yeast strain...if you don't you're just making wheat beer...

Brewpilot, Your grain bill looks good, however I agree with homebrewer 99, you need to use a heffe yeast. I used Wyeast 3638 and my beer turned out great! Good luck with your beer!
