Default mutons yeast vs nottingham

Ok, I'd planned out a PM sweet stout recipe - and gone to my LHBS. Planning on buying nottingham dry yeast or safale S-04, but he was out of both. Recommended the muton's dry, which I bought.

but I wonder if this is a good substitute - I've had great luck w/nottingham in the past.

Munton's regular yeast will attenuate less and is probably a better choice for a sweet stout. More body, mouthfeel and residual sweetness.

The Nottingham will attenuate too much, leaving the beer too dry for the style...
