I'm trying to make an ale with some leftover ingredients that I have. If anyone is familiar with Amish Four Grain Ale in Pennsylvania I would like to do something close to that beer. Anyhow, this is what I have so far for a recipe:
6.5 lbs. Marris Otter
2.0 lbs. Flaked Rye
1.35 lbs. White Wheat
.5 lbs. Crystal 40
1 lbs. Oats
HOPS: Willamette, Fuggles, Saaz and also dry hop with Saaz.
Not quite sure on the yeast yet.
Any help would be appreciated. I'm not opposed to buying more ingredients to make a good beer I just want to use up as much as I already have on hand.
