Default Mugwort Ale question

I'm using the Mugwort Ale recipe from SACRED AND HERBAL HEALING BEERS by Stephen Buhner

here's the recipe:
3 lb brown sugar
24 oz molasses
4 gal water
2 oz dried mugwort herb

I cut the recipe in half and have started fermentation

I'm curious of one thing:

doesn't it sound like this recipe needs some yeast nutrient?
what do you think?

nutrient is always a good idea but molasses / brown sugar should contain most of not all of the stuff the yeast needs.
