I tried Modus Hoperandi for the first time last night. Amazing!!!! This is defintey my new favorite beer. Couldn't believe it came in a can! haha Man was it good. I don't do AG, I wonder how an extract conversion would work for this recipe?? Would you reduce the bitterness and if so how? Overall, does this recipe truly taste like the original?

How did your clone turn out?

J - I think it needs to be closer to 70 IBU's and they use a dry english ale yeast.

Thats only if you are trying to match it pefectly, your beer still sounds like a great west coast IPA.

Good Luck!

Brewing my clone this weekend. I've thought about using a dry English ale yeast like the WLP007. I might try that next time. In terms of bitterness, I'll got with 85 this time and try 70 next time...
