Maple Syrup?

I am doing a recipe that calls for maple syrup...will any maple syrup do form the grocery store or shouldi order from a brew store? And are there any online brew stores that yall know of that carry it? Thanks

I get mine from the amish guy at the farmers market. Way better than the grocery store for about the same price.

Get all natural maple syrup, and if possible, get the Grade A Light. Higher sugar count and a light color. Unless you are doing a dark beer, in that case get the Grade B which is darker and has more of a caramel flavor to it but a lower sugar count.

Higher sugar = dryer beer & higher alcohol %
lower sugar = sweeter beer & lower alcohol %

I just got back form the grocery store and got 3 pounds of maple syrup....that **** is expensive!
