Default maple syrup

I all,

My friend and I are making a brown ale and we want to add some maple syrup before bottling. We are brewing a 3gallon recipe and we don't know which quantity we should add if we're also adding some malt extract.

Default

if you are PRIMING for bottling: from NB's priming calculator: 2 oz

if you are using it as a fermentable: going by what BeerSmith2 says: up to 10% of the total grains
