So I was brewing an Imperial Stout a couple weekends ago and added twice as much Maltodextrin as the recipe called for by accident. It called for 4 oz. and I used 8 oz. I checked around and it looked like this was not an excessive amount for a 5 gallon batch anyway. Anybody have any comments about whether this will adversely affect the beer? This is the first time I've used Maltodextrin. Thanks.
