Default Looking for plain extra light DME

I have had some trouble finding this ingredient. I am trying to make Charlie Papazian's Rocky Raccoon's Crystal Honey Lager
and it call's for plain extra light DME i have been able to find light DME, but not Extra light DME anyone know where i can find this ?

Light DME would work fine. Austin Homebrew and Northern Brewer have Extra Light DME. It is made by Briess and Munton's. Possibly a few more. Subbing light DME wouldn't make much of a difference though.

Yeah, I wouldn't sweat it unless you are entering a competition where a subtle difference in the color of the beer could hurt you. (In that case, I'd consider doing a late addition of the extract too.)

I get Munton's Extra Light DME from midwestsupplies.com.

You should be able to get it from your local HBS there in B'ham. Yes, I've visited with the guys there...
