Like Uhlee1 said, a local home brew club. I found mine online and posted a message to the group asking for an All Grain Mentor and that I wanted to help in their next brew session. I had several replies of folks brewing that weekend.
It changed my life. I truly learned a great deal and went home confident and ready to make the change to All Grain. The result is beer better than most micros IMHO, but then again, I'm a bit biased about my own beer.  If you were in Austin, you could come by my place tomorrow for my inaugural 10 gallon batch of Haus Pale Ale. I'm working today to make room in the garage for my new freeze for cornies and the old freezer be comes the 3 bucket fermentation chamber for the hot Texas summer. |

Wow!!!
As always thanks everyone great info!! Also I entered my first homebrew competition just to see what it was like. I am waiting for the results but I'll keep everyone posted, as far as the results and my progress with the LHBS. THANKS EVERYONE!!!!
