I am looking for an extract recipe for a clone of bells hopslam ale.
if you find a all grain recipe some of the HBT'ers along with myself will more easliy help you convert from all grain to extact
Well, this isn't a recipe, but I've read on several sites that it is brewed with some honey. Also, knowing Bell's, this probably has centennial hops in it (hopefully).
Well, this should get you up and going.Bells Hopslam Recipe ::: Brew365 - Homebrewing Recipes and Articles
Light amber base with approx. 3lbs of hops! Yeah, that should get you close.
You will never make that with a partial boil.
I think I'll have another pint of this highly flawed beer because it's so damned good.
Anyone have an Extract version of this? I just picked up a 6 pack and it's great!
What yeast would be used for this? In that link the person doesn't list the yeast used and has anyone tested this as an extract? The AG I believe has 10.5 oz of hops while the Extract lists about 8?
Would like to get this as close as possible to the original.
