Default Looking for Civil War / Spanish American War period beer recipe's

i can't seem to find much...i know rations of ale were given to the soldiers during the civil war. here's a site with a few "historical brews" i came across:

Thanks. It looks like the challenge is going to be interpreting the recipe's a bit.

Looking forward to brewing some Molasses or spuce beers of the period.

That "Hop Beer" looks quite complex. I have gotta try some of these classic recipes sometime. Thanks for the site!
