SWMBO and I went to DuClaw this weekend and she had their barleywine and asked "why don't you make one of these?"

So, does anyone have a good barleywine recipe they can post?

You could try the 9-9-9 Barleywine recipe. Seeing as how it's meant to be drank in a year, there probably hasn't been anyone who has sampled yet, but it was created by Brewpastor, and he has a pretty good track record for recipes.

The hydro sample when racking from primary to secondary was friggin' awesome on the 999.

Scale it down some if you want it drinkable sooner.
