I have a Belgian wit recipe that calls for lemongrass. While I can lemongrass without much effort, lemons are much easier to come by. Is there a significant difference in the flavor profile of each that would favor lemongrass over lemon zest?
Yes...lemongrass is far more herbal and I think nicer...if you can get it go for it. I remember smelling fresh lemongrass and being really impressed by it
