Default Lager with MO as base

Since I am unable to brew (middle of new home search, brewery is packed), I am left to a lot of pondering. Has anyone ever used Marris Otter as a base malt for a lager? I am assuming it would add a nice flavor/feel and potentially compliment the crispness of the lager.

Thoughts?

I would think it would change the whole lager. Lager tends to be crisp and "clean" tasting, and MO to me is fuller than that. I love MO and use it in many beers as a base malt, but in my lagers I tend to use pilsner malt.

American 6 row and rice make a beer so light that you won't even know it is there.
