Default Kona Brewing Big Wave Golden Ale or Firerock Pale Ale Clone?

Does anyone have a recipe (extract) for Kona's Firerock Pale Ale or Big Wave Golden Ale?

Thanks for any help you can offer!

From their website (www.konabrewingco.com)-

Fire Rock Pale Ale is a crisp, refreshing “Hawaiian-style” pale ale. Its signature copper color results from the unique blend of specialty roasted malts. The pronounced citrus-floral hop aroma comes from the liberal amounts of Galena, Cascade & Mt. Hood hops added to each brew.

Bitterness- 38 IBU
ABV- 5.9%
OG- 14.0 P
Malts- Pale Premium 2 Row, Munich, Honey
Hops- Galena, Cascade, Mt. Hood

Big Wave is a light golden ale with a subtle fruitiness and delicate hop aroma. A smooth, easy drinking refreshing ale. The lightly roasted honey malt contributes to the golden hue of this beer and also gives a slight sweetness that is balanced out by our special blend of hops.

Bitterness- 20 IBU
ABV- 5.3%
OG- 12.5 P
Malts- Pale Premium 2 Row, Honey
Hops- Northern Brewer, Willamette, Hallertau

Do you live/ brew in hawaii? Want to know other brewers here. No clone recipes to offer. Try Maui Brewing Co. Big swell IPA or Coconut Porter. Kona Lavaman red ale is great too. Love the fire rock.

No, I'm not from Hawaii, but do visit occassionally. These two beers are among my favorite.

I stumbled upon this thread and thought i'd revive it. Has anyone tried to clone their Big Wave Golden Ale, or is there another recipe that someone has tasted that would get me pretty close to it? I read through BM's Firerock PA recipe, but prefer the Golden Ale.

I've done extract's so far, but i can give a pm a shot. So if anyone has any ideas, suggestions.

On a side note, I took their tour last week on the big island. And asked the dude about the hops in the Big Wave and he told me to try some Cascade and Centenniel, but their website mentions Northern Brewer, Willamette, Hallertau. So, I dont think he gave me the right info.

I don't think that will harm. It will obviously make it a bit diff, but hell if it tastes good, screw it!
