Default Ingredient alteration

Needed crystal 60L but supplier didn't have any but he said he could make a special blend with 90L. So instead of buying the blend I picked up some Crystal 90L and will make the blend myself as needed with 40L. I figured 40% of 90L and 60% of 40L would give me 60L. Now I'm wondering if this is right. Will it be the same?

The color will be accurate but the flavor profiles will be a little different. Overall I wouldn't sweat it. Go for it.

keep it simple! brew it up and if you don't like the results, brew it again differently!
