Default Imperial Stout - need solid recipe

I want to do a big stout. I was considering ordering the AHS Cannon Ball Stout. But then I was reading the reviews about the Russian Imperial Stout recipe posted by marubozo (http://www.homebrewtalk.com/f68/russian-imperial-stout-2011-hbt-competition-category-winner-238807/).

Anyone have experience with these and can comment on how good they are? Anything you'd change about either? I'll be doing an all-grain batch. Thanks.

On Deck:
Bottle conditioning / Ageing: Bourbon-Oaked Vanilla Porter
Consuming: Black IPA, Stone Vertical Epic 08.08.08 clone, EdWort's Apfelwein, English Barleywine, Sweet Mead, Punkin' Ale, Allagash Tripel clone, Pre-Prohibition Lager, Patersbier

Anytime I'm looking for a knockout recipe to style, I look at Jamil's recipes, even if I end up making some changes.

Check the stout forum in the recipe database. BrewPastor's Dark Night of the Soul, and another, called Double-W (too lazy to look for the author). I've brewed Dark Night, and it's delicious! Double-W is inspired by DN, and looks pretty good.

On-Deck: BierMuncher's OktoberFAST Ale; Bacon488's Mild

Primary: Quad; Emmdub23's Belma Stout

Kegged: Mosaic pilsner; Fir tip Maibock; Session IPA; Apple cider;

Bottled: Saison Americain; Tripel; Session Saison; Grodziskie; Belma/Strisselspalt Session Saison; Coffee Saison
