Default Which IIPA looks better

Im about to brew my first IIPA, and I have 2 recipes Ive came up with and would like some critiqueing please. First its a Partial Mash, havent gone all-grain, yet.


Centennial is 6%
Columbus is 14.2%

But the first is;


Briess Golden Light Dry Extract 7 lbs, 0 oz
Briess 2-Row Brewer's Malt 1 lbs, 8 oz
Briess 2 Row Caramel 40 1 lbs, 0 oz
Columbus Pellets 2 oz @ 60 mins
Columbus Pellets 1 oz @ 30 mins
Columbus Pellets 1 oz @ 10 mins
Centennial Pellets 1 oz @ 10 mins
Centennial Pellets 1 oz @ 5 mins
Centennial Pellets 1 oz @ Dry
White Labs California Ale

Looking at;
OG-1.076 FG-1.018 IBU-120.5 ABV-7.60




Next is

Briess Munich Liquid Extract 1 lbs, 8 oz
Belgian Pale Ale 1 lbs, 0 oz

Centennial Pellets 1 oz @ 30 mins
Centennial Pellets 1 oz @ 10 mins
Centennial Pellets 1 oz @ Dry
Wyeast Labs American Ale



OG-1.075 FG-1.019 IBU's-117 ABV-7.34

In my opinion, the second one reads deliciously. Some extra grains to work with also making it a little more interesting. I also like the yeast choices on both. Good Luck and I am sure either will do you justice.

IMO the malt bill from the second and the hop schedule from the first. i am a big fan of more hops later in the boil with less than twenty minutes left in the boil. big smooth hop flavor and aroma.
