Default I need a low calorie beer.

Hi all. I want to make a low cal beer with my next batch after my Geordy Larger is bottled. I would value any recipes thanks. And since I'm still new at brewing, I'd probably be better off with a simple recipe.

Thanks!

All you have to do is modify your recipe.

Add 1 gal of water OR reduce the malt by 2 lbs and you'll have a lighter beer.

May be you could specify what threshold would qualify for low/regular calorie beer for you?

I'm hoping for something like Holsten pils. It has 135 cals per 275mls and it's 5%. That's pretty good I guess.

I think any regular pilsner should fit this category. I use BeerToolPro and it shows calories for a recipe you work on. When I get back home I'll take a look.

Here we go, so, say Budvar (Bohemian pilsner style) I brewd with OG 1.052, FG 1.014 , ABV 4.96% calorie vise:
From alcohol: 75
From carbs: 55
From Protein: 4
Total: 134 for 275 ml

Considering that any Bohemian Pilsners are usually the "thickest" (I don't count American innovation of Imperial Pilseners) among the style - go ahead, brew some Pilsner recipe and Enjoy!
